Why from the action and their reasons

Why do people not ask  hobbits for money? Because they are always a little short. Epic is defined as a long poem, typically one derived from ancient oral tradition, narrating the deeds and adventures of heroic or legendary figures or the history of a nation. The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, is a fantasy told in the third age of Middle earth. Although J.R.R Tolkien spent most of his life in England, he was born in South Africa. His Mother died of Diabetes and his father of old age. Tolkien had a brother by the name of  Hilary Tolkien.  Tolkien attended Oxford College and later he returned there as a professor. Tolkien as we know was a writer and professor, but he was also a philologist and a poet. The characters of the hobbit are the first thing to understand when it comes to reading The Hobbit. Understanding the purpose of the Hobbits (also known as halfings because of their small size) and how their appearance is a separate thing from the action and their reasons why they do what they do or what makes them so special is very important.  There is Bilbo Baggins (the burglar) who is one of the main characters in this Epic story, but there is also his thirteen Dwarf companions(Dwalin, Balin, Fili, Kili, Ori, Nori, Dori, Bofur, Bifur, Bomfur, Thorin) and then there is  also Gandalf the Grey, The amazing Wizard. All of these characters and more go through this story learning, loving and dying for each other. At the beginning of the story we are introduced to a Hobbit by the name of Bilbo and are also introduced to his love of comfort in his home. Later, we meet gandalf and the thirteen dwarves who are on a quest to reclaim their homeland. The thirteen dwarves ask gandalf to find them their fourteenth companion who will be the burglar when the reach The lonely Mountain, A cave that they have created their lives in and got stolen from them from a dragon by the name of Smaug. Here and only here does Bilbo realize his purpose for joining the group. The Fire breathing Dragon Smaug was used to the smell of Dwarf.-Never laugh at a live dragon, Bilbo you are a fool!(Tolkien) If any of the thirteen dwarves had even attempted to go into the mountain and steal the arkenstone( the jewel most precious to the mountain) they would have become crispy pieces of delectable bacon. At least for the dragon anyway. The devilish Dragon Smaug had never had a hint of a scent from a hobbit before, therefore he would not be waken or stirred so easily. At this point the story seems to be approaching an end. Only the reader reads on to find that it is just the beginning The people of Laketown and the dwarves had a violent disagreement about splitting the treasure in the mountain evenly, but when an enemy comes along to destroy them both, they put aside their differences and work together to eliminate the ultimate enemy. In the end blood is spilt, lessons are learned and creatures cursed but what is an epic if it does not contain these qualities. The setting in the book of the hobbit in vast scope covers great nations. The diversity of the great nations bring the people together in the end. Supernatural humans like, wizards, witches and demons interest themselves in the acton and intervene from time to time. Gandalf the grey, the lady of the woods and of course Sauron the summoner of the Ring of power. Without these superhumans the story could not have taken place. A style of sustained elevation and grand simplicity is used when the character Bilbo Baggins is chosen as the fourteenth member of a group setting out to reclaim their homeland. The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, is a fantasy taking place in the world of Middle Earth. The setting in the book of the hobbit in vast scope covers great nations. The diversity of the great nations bring the people together in the end.The peoples of middle are very different. Unlike a natural human being. This is probably because the people of middle earth do not all bleed blood. When it comes to the different type of people in middle earth, there a lot. There are humans, dwarves, elves, goblins, ents(talking trees),wizards and much more.Though they are very different to the naked eye, They seem to have something in common. The thirteen dwarves Gandalf the grey, and Bilbo the hobbit are all different, but they all set out to do the same thing. So although they are vastly different and are from different parts of Middle Earth, they share a common goal which in this story seems to be enough to bring them closer together. Biblos diversity from the nation seem to have brought them out of many troubles. It helped Himself when he encountered Gollum, a old ragged hobbit possessed by the ring for many years. -Tolkien, Bilbo Baggins: (It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills, It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter. What is it?) Supernatural humans like, wizards, witches and demons interest themselves in the acton and intervene from time to time. Gandalf the grey, the lady of the woods and of course Sauron the summoner of the Ring of power. Without these superhumans the story could not have taken place. Without Gandalf the Dwarves would have never encountered Bilbo and the story story not have been called the hobbit since he would have been in his hole in the ground.Gandalf knew Bilbo when he was an adventurous little boy, but when he comes back to Hobbiton looking for a hobbit to share an adventure with, he notices that bilbo has grown into a much different person then he would have expected.-Tolkien, Gandalf: (I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it’s very difficult to find anyone.’ I should think so — in these parts! We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!) Gandalf ignoring the fact that bilbo is changed a little, leaves a mark on his door. A sign that only the Dwarves would notice. There is also the white wizard Saruman who is an example of what a wizard should not be considering the fact that they have access to a lot of power. Another character is the lady of the woods, who uses most of her power to banish Sauron. Many of the characters in this Book use the power they have, if any at all for good. But characters like the Dragon Smaug, Sauron and Saruman are there reason why the main characters encounter trouble.A style of sustained elevation and grand simplicity is used when the character Bilbo Baggins is chosen as the fourteenth member of a group setting out to reclaim their homeland. Bilbo is the least expected member that the dwarves thought Gandalf would choice. Gandalf looked beyond the fact that Bilbo did not even know how to wield a sword or fight swiftly as if he had been trained for years to do so. He simply remembered the boy Bilbo use to be and hope that the adventurous boy that used to pretend to fight enemies and dragons would emerge from within. -If more of us valued food, cheer and songs above hoarded gold, this would be a happier world.(tolkien). Gandalf saw something in Bilbo that was so simple, it was powerful. The story grows stronger as it progresses, but it grows slowly, allowing the reader to obtain the information on the whole new world. The world of Middle Earth as a whole is a whole lot to take in all at once. That is why we are introduced to Bilbo and he quiet world of hobbited and then are slowly pushed into the dangers outside the pieceful haven when danger does not exist. Bilbo is the perfect character to use when it comes to using simple things and people to elevate the story to a whole new level.-Tolkien, Bilbo: (I come from under hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led. And through the air, I am he that walks unseen…I am the clue-finder, the web-cutter, the stinging fly. I was chosen for the lucky number…I am he that buries his friends alive and drowns them and draws them alive again from the water.)The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, as can be seen is a fantasy taking place in the magical world of Middle Earth. This evidence proves that the world of Middle earth is A magical fantasy for an epic like The Hobbit. Why do people love hobbits? Because they do not look down on people.
