The not an advanced country like Canada

The countries that
our group had chosen are Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama and Guatemala. These
countries are part of United States continent. The definition of “continental
United States” that we and most other major survey organizations use includes the
48 contiguous states said by Rich Morin, Senior Editor, Pew Research Center.
This continet is one of the largest and advanced continent in the world.  We have to do a research on these countries
about their types of political system, the political parties that have, the
economic category for each countries, their election procedure and current
leaders. I choose Jamaica as my main country to do a research because it is a
beautiful and the political system is standardized which means did not have a
lot a lot of problems. The political members and ruler of Jamaica manage their
country well and systematic. Eventhough, Jamaica is not  an advanced country like Canada or USA but it
still on developing to make a better country.

Canada and Jamaica
use constitutional monarchy and parlimentary democracy as their political
system. They have use these system since a long time ago. This means that the
Queen or King is the head of state, while the Prime Minister is the head of
government. She is represented by a Governor-General appointed on the
recommendation of the Prime Minister. Canada and Jamaica’s bilateral
relationship is close and wide-ranging. With the largest population in the
Caribbean, Jamaica is a key partner for Canada’s Engagement in the Americas.
Canada is actively engaged with Jamaica on a broad range of issues including;
security and defence cooperation, trade and investment links, and development. Based
on this system, the Queen or King must follow the law of the constitution and
usually has no government power. Besides, Canada and Jamaica also use
parlimentary democracy as their political system. For Canada, a parliamentary
democracy has three parts which is the Sovereign (Queen), the Senate, and
the House of Commons. The government has three levels which is federal,
provincial and municipal. Meanwhile parlimentary democracy system in Jamaica
consist of two houses which are The Senate and The House of Representatives.
The 21 senators are appointed by the Governor-General and 13 of them are on the
advice of the Prime Minister, while eight on the advice of the Leader of the
Opposition. The House of Representatives has 63 directly elected members. The
Governor-General appoints the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition. The
cabinet has executive responsibility to manage the country. So that, Canada and
Jamaica have same types of political system which are Parliamentary democracy
and Constitutional monarchy while the other three countries which are Mexico,
Panama and Guatemala are using democratic republic as their political systems. A
democratic republic is a country that is both a republic and a democracy which
means all citizens have the right to vote for their governmental
representatives. The differences between these three countries is in Guatemala
refers their queen as a leader of the country which called Constitutional
Democratic Republic while in Mexico and Panama, the leader of the country is
the president itself. These three countries have three branches in their
government which are executive, legislative and judiciary. Each branches is
independent from the others, but each of them holds a similar amount of
authority which is to ensure the government is effective and citizens’ rights
are protected. As for Malaysia, the political system that currently used are
constitutional monarchy, democracy and parlimentary democracy which same with
Canada and Jamaica. Every people or citizens can vote to choose their leader
and party to manage and rule the country. The King or Yang di-Pertuan Agong is
a head of state and the Prime Minister is the head of government. Executive
power is exercised by the federal government and the 13 state governments.
Malaysia can refers to Canada in political system to improve the country in
management as Canada is one of the most strong and efficient government in
politics.

that Mexico has the longest period in conducting an election compared to the
other country which is 6 years in a period. They have about 9 political parties
and the most main political parties is Inst. Revolutionary Party, National
Action Party and Party of Democratic Revolution. Hence for Jamaica , they have 5
all total parties but the main political parties is People’s National Party and
The Jamaica Labour Party. The election will be held every 5 years for the
country to make the changes on their government. Therefore , for Guatemala they
use an electoral system which is the election will be held in 2 rounds and the
future presidents is being choosen by the power of citizens and the government

For each country that we choose , they have their own
economic categories . For Mexico, they are a trading partners with the USA.
They trade with each others to help in growth in a country economy. They trying
to get a profit based on the trading goods between USA and from that trading,
Mexico has increase their margin profit for each year and now has been ranked
number 2 in tradings good with the USA. Mexico also stated in “Ease of doing

trades. Jamaica has a place that attract a tourist so the country income also
can be dependants from that resources. They also do a good trades with a few

on their record, but recently from that sources of incomes, they can afford to
reduced their total of country debts by 15% each years. Meanwhile in Guatemala,
this country economy is dominated by the privated sector which is many of htem

the country income. Other than that , Guatemala also be a world leader in
supplying and producing a cardamom to the worldwide which is their major states
income. Even be a world producer of cardamom still cant promise a stabil
country as they still have 12% of the citizens still lives under the
international poverty lines. For Panama, their economy is based on their
citizens itself . As we know they have a huge number of citizens, they gain a
state income from the tolls , public transport and the taxes. This how Panama
